Probably because they think there’s cereal in it because of the cereal on top. if they want people to buy it then they should only put the marshmallows on top.

“Hey, we’ve got some leftover lucky charms cereal here, what do we do with it boss?”

The Boss: “fuck it, just put them on some random ice cream and call it lucky charm ice cream, someone will buy it eventually.

    3. This thing probably came with instructions to pour a bunch of cereal over it before putting it out, to make it more appealing.

It does not make it more appealing.

(How does this stuff get to the stores? It’s so well-packed that they can’t be scooping it into the metal tubs, but shipping pre-filled metal tubs around seems impractical. Do they make it on-site?)

    4. For anyone wondering, it tastes like the dry cereal part of lucky charms (not the marshmallows.) My niece loved it, I found it very bland.

a cold stone employee told me that most limited edition flavors are just birthday cake ice cream + food coloring

if you’re gonna make lucky charm icecream, it better be 100% the marshmello charms, and zero of the actual cereal part. wtf were they thinking

    7. not me immediately wanting it just because no one else picked it 😭 i swear i’ve always had that problem… if something feels “underrated” i suddenly convince myself it’s the best thing ever lol

At my local cold stone, its competing with lemon cake batter, which is fucking delicious combined with raspberries. It was still mostly gone when i visited a week ago.

    11. Used to work at coldstone. One would think that its made with the marshmallows only cause those are the best part. But the recipe has you dump in a whole regular box of the cereal, which is mostly the plain cheerio like pieces. It goes in with the liquid cream base, which just makes the cheerio pieces soggy. The final product literally tastes like a bowl of soggy mushy cheerios

Green makes me think mint. So is it mint flavor with lucky charms on top? Cause that sounds gross.

    13. all of the ice cream in the picture is ice cream that no one bought (because its still there)

Isn’t the whole point of Coldstone that you choose to mix in whatever crap you like, rather than already having it mixed in for you?

Why not just shamrock marshmallows in pistachio ice cream? Seriously real pistachio ice cream and gelato is delicious and it’s already green
